She’s pulling a dandelion stalk From underneath her feet.
The breeze carries dandelion seeds In likeness with her hair. They follow where she leads, Drifting soundlessly through the air.
She’s waiting on the sandy shore, As the sun sinks low and red. She can scarcely see the waves’ roar, For light’s emissions died unshed.
Among the dampness and the blaze, An abandoned seed is cast. Since dawn has shied his rays And raindrops did not last.
